03 · About me

Hi, I’m Liam.

I’m Liam Aljundi, a designer and researcher with a background in interaction design, cognitive science, and user research. Currently pursuing a master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business Design at Chalmers University.

I specialise in leading innovation efforts that combine human insight, elegant design, and transformative technology.

I thrive on seeing the bigger picture, spotting what makes a product succeed, and making sure every detail works toward that goal.

Over the past years, I’ve worked at the intersection of research, design, and technology, from creating educational tools at Arduino to exploring how movement and tangible interfaces can make mathematics engaging. My work is driven by the belief that products succeed when they connect deeply with people’s needs and experiences.

What people say

Liam stood out with his thoughtful approach, attentively listening and genuinely considering the insights and feedback from educators like myself. His ability to transform our classroom needs and ideas into actionable insights greatly enhanced the development of meaningful, teacher-centered content.
Austin GardnerTechnology and Design Teacher at LAUDE El Altillo School
Liam's work was greatly appreciated and it is worth mentioning that he left a big void when he left the company to further pursue an academic career. His work ethos and his ability with methods, analysis and synthesis of results are hard to match.
David CuartiellesArduino Co-founder, CTO Education
Liam has consistently done an excellent job, helping students engage with and prototype using technologies they were previously unfamiliar with. He is extremely reliable, patient, and kind — even in high-pressure situations when technical issues arise. One of his most remarkable strengths is his rare ability to combine strong technical skills with a user-centered mindset. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to invite Liam back to my classes.
Benjamin MausLecturer at Malmö University
What I appreciated the most about Liam was his reliability and accountability. Whether I delegated a specific task or entrusted him with the entire strategy for a user study, he always delivered accurate results on time. His ability to balance strategic thinking with execution made a real impact on our research efforts.
Alice MelaProduct Experience Lead at Arduino
In our interactive design project for people and plants, Liam’s technical skills were key in building and troubleshooting the code for smooth, meaningful interactions. His problem-solving and deep understanding of coding were essential to the project’s success. Similarly, in my thesis, Liam helped develop an engaging, user-centered experience for smart lighting products, enhancing both interactivity and user experience.
